Yeomen Take on Belleville in TRU A Final (August 26, 2010)

The Yeomen first side continued their fine team play and finished the group stage 3-0 by defeating Brock 20-19.  They now prepare to tackle Belleville in the TRU Final on Saturday August 28th at Fletcher's Field's at 3pm.  Our second team will also play against Belleville on Saturday at 12pm.
 
What we need is a huge YEOMEN turnout to support all our teams as we have had the best year yet in a long long time. So if you can come out the players will definitely appreciate your support.

Yeomen sweep Saxons, Prepare for Brock and TRU A Final! (August 17, 2010)

Week 2 of the playoffs saw two victories for the Yeomen in Cobourg.  The Mens II side battled their way to a 12-5 win.  The Mens I side started quickly and then overcame disruptions and a surge from the Saxons ending with a convincing 28-13 triumph.

With the win and bonus point our first side has qualified for the TRU A Final to be held at Fletcher's Fields on Aug 28th.  We hope to see as many Yeomen and supporters out as possible as we return to a Championship match!

This week the team travels to Brock for the final game of the round robin (Mens II side will not have a game as Brock only has one side).

Yeomen Defeat Dragons (August 9, 2010)

The playoffs began with a bang thanks to a convincing 36-19 victory for the 1st side.  Our forwards played a solid game, but the day belonged to our backs.  They constantly attacked with conviction and purpose from everywhere on the field.  The 2nd side fought hard and showed well in a very tight match that was much closer than the 17-0 final score.

We head to Cobourg this week and need to keep up the training so see you at practice!

Yeomen Drop Close Game with North Halton and prepare for Coboug (July 26, 2010)

The Yeomen provided their best team and scoring effort to North Halton, but lost a hard fought battle 11 - 5.  We are now preparing for our last regular season games against Cobourg this week.  Everyone is needed at practice and on Saturday to end the season with a win and carry through to the playoffs!

Yeomen conquer Bucs and prepare for Brock (June 28, 2010)

With another team effort the Yeomen 1st side earned a 19-0 victory over the Buccaneers.  The 2nd team was awarded a 20-0 decision via default.

Keep up the hard work as we prepare to host Brock on July 10th.  No games this weekend - Happy Canada Day!

Yeomen come together against the Blues (June 21, 2010)

In our first ever clash with this new men`s club the Yeomen scored 2 well earned victories.  Both games were hotly contested in warm weather and good form was shown by all. The 2nd sides score was 23 - 13 and the 1st sides score was 33 - 24.

Let`s keep up the good work and carry that into this weekend against the Buccaneers!
