Yeomen and Old Boys Host Baltimore Brumbies (August 26, 2009)
I want to send this message out to everyone on what a great job everyone did in both our playing and hosting of the Baltimore Brumbies and Baltimore Old Boys. It was wonderful to see so many old boys out either playing or supporting our club.
The results were:
Baltimore Brumbies 28 - Yeomen Selects 8
Yeomen Old Boys 31 - Baltimore Old Boys 18
I would like to thank the following:
Todd Russell and Stuart Findlay for an excellent job of refereeing.
Bruce Smith and Billy Handson for their donation to the registration fee for the old boys so the game could be played.
Jerry Cicchini on providing lots of food at his bar The Duchess of Markham where a good time was had by all.
Al Findlay for all his extra effort to make sure all players were registered.
All the players, supporters, wives, girlfriends who showed up yesterday to make it such a huge success.
